RESORT IN AMERICA FORT LAUDERDALE, FL � The 7th Annual International Multicultural
Tourism/Hotel Ownership Summit & Trade Show on July 23-27, 2003 will be held
at the newly opened Royal Palm Crowne Plaza Resort on South Beach, Florida. This
new 422 room, 80 million dollar hotel's construction was pivotal in a 20-point
plan, drafted and agreed upon by activists, city officials and lodging
executives that ended the Black tourism boycott of Miami in 1993. It represents
a new era in the hospitality industry and direction of the National Association
of Black Hotel Owners, Operators & Developers (NABHOOD) whose mission is to
increase the number of African American owned hotels, breaking the glass ceiling
in the executive suite and increasing minority suppliers to the
